Governor for funding from the Texas Military Preparedness Commission's Defense
Economic Adjustment Assistant Grant Program for $990,000 with a City match of
$59,400 to procure and install four atmospheric water generators (AWGs) at the
Corpus Christi Army Depot.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to submit
a grant application to the Office of the Governor for funding from the Texas Military
Preparedness Commission's Defense Economic Adjustment Assistance Grant Program
for $990,000 with a cash match of $59,400 to procure and install four atmospheric water
generators (AWGs) at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
Section 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to sign any and all documents
necessary to apply for the DEAAG grant with the Office of the Governor and to execute all
necessary contracts related to three grant. ,
