Special Meeting
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary

least 48 hours in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
The mission of the Business & Jobs Development (Type A) and B Corporations is to
promote and enhance the City of Corpus Christi's economic base by supporting
projects and programs that create primary jobs, improve small business and affordable
housing opportunities, and improve infrastructure in our City.
A. President Alan Wilson to call the meeting to order.
President Alan Wilson called the meeting to order at 1:37 p.m.
B. Call Roll:
City Secretary Rebecca Huerta called the roll and verified that a quorum of the Board
was present to conduct the meeting.
Mr. Philipello arrived at 1:42 p.m.
Present 5 - Board Member Mark LaRue, Board Member Vishnu Reddy, Board Member Johnny
Philipello, Vice -President Jesus Jimenez, and President Alan Wilson
Absent 2 - Board Member Victoria Holland, and President Diana Summers
C. PUBLIC COMMENT:
President Wilson referred to Public Comment. There were no comments from the public.

1. 25-1310 Motion authorizing a business incentive grant agreement with Padre Island
North, LLC. , for a total incentive amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for Marriott
Dual Branded Hotels; Courtyard & Residence Inn, Conference Center, Bar &
Restaurant at 15210 - 152222 Windward Drive, Corpus Christi, Tx. 78418.
President Wilson referred to Item 1. Compliance Officer for the Corpus Christi Regional
Economic Development Corporation Randy Almaguer presented a Business Incentive
Project with Padre Island North LLC.
Mr. Almaguer presented the following: Performance Requirements; Grant Award/Payout
Terms; Project Location; and Project Street and Water View.
President Wilson opened the Public Hearing.
There were no comments from the public.
President Wilson closed the Public Hearing.
Mr. Jimenez made a motion to approve Item 1, seconded by Mr. Reddy, motion passed.
President Wilson abstained.
H. PUBLIC HEARING:
2. 25-1309 Public Hearing and Motion authorizing eight Corpus Christi B Corporation Small
Business Assistance Agreements with the following entities for one year:
LiftFund, Inc., Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), Texas A&M
University - Corpus Christi, and Del Mar College (DMC) for a total amount not to
exceed $1,174,725 to assist small businesses within the City of Corpus Christi
to invest and create/retain jobs.
President Wilson referred to Item 1. Compliance Officer for the Corpus Christi Regional
Economic Development Corporation Randy Almaguer presented the eight small
business assistance program contracts.
There was no comments from the board.
Mr. LaRue made a motion to approve Item 2, seconded by Mr. Reddy, and passed
unanimously.
This agenda constitutes notice of any project or type of project that is the
subject of a public hearing for purposes of section 505.160 of the Texas Local
Government Code.

J. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR COMMENTS:
President Wilson referred to the Executive Director comments. City Manager Peter
Zanoni had no comments.
K. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, President Wilson adjourned the meeting at 1:47 p.m.
This meeting may be held via videoconference call pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.127. If this meeting is held via
videoconference call or other remote method of meeting, then a member of this governmental body presiding over this
meeting will be physically present at the location of this meeting unless this meeting is held pursuant to Texas Government
Code § 551.125 due to an emergency or other public necessity pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.045.
