SOUTH TEXAS WATER AUTHORITY
Whereas, on September 10, 1980, the City of Corpus Christi, Texas through City Council
Ordinance 15749, authorized an Agreement with South Texas Water Authority ("STWA") for the
sale of treated water to South Texas Water Authority, ("the Agreement");
Whereas, Section 7 of the Agreement regarding the price of treated water was modified per the
Settlement Agreement between the parties effective August 13, 2013 in the case San Patricio
Municipal Water District and South Texas Water Authority v. City of Corpus Christi Cause No.
08-5366-G in the 319th Judicial District of Nueces County Texas,("the Settlement Agreement");
Whereas, STWA has submitted a request to extend the term of the Agreement for three additional
years to be effective January 1,2026;
NOW,THEREFORE, South Texas Water Authority and the City of Corpus Christi,Texas
agree as follows:
That Agreement,as modified by the Settlement Agreement,is extended through December
31,2028.
