Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a two-year waste disposal agreement
with BFI Waste Services of Texas, L.P., dba Republic Services of Corpus Christi,
guaranteeing the delivery of specific tonnage of acceptable waste collected within the
boundaries of the Coastal Bend Council of Governments region to the City's Cefe
Valenzuela Municipal Landfill, with a termination date of November 12, 2027.
At a meeting of the City Council on 2/24/2026, this Motion was passed.

authorized representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that
the money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation
or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from
which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments
are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
