Motion approving a supply agreement for swimming pool chemicals which include 28,000 gallons of
sodium hypochlorite, 6,000 gallons of muriatic acid, 6,000 lbs. of cyanuric acid and 30,000 lbs. of
bicarbonate of soda, in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0142-93 with DX Distributors, Inc., San
Antonio, Texas based on total low bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $57,400. The term of
the agreement shall be for twelve months with an option to extend for up to an additional twelve
months, subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. Funds have
been budgeted for FY 92-93 by the Aquatics Division of Park and Recreation.
