Motion authorizing the execution of agreements totaling $250,000 which consists of two,
one-year professional service agreements, in the amount of up to $125,000 each with
two one-year options, with a potential up to $750,000.00 if options are exercised, and
funds are available, with both The Cattery, Inc., and South Texas Animal Rescue Group
to provide spay and neuter services for Corpus Christi Animal Care Services, with
funding from the FY 2026 General Fund.
At a meeting of the City Council on 4/28/2026, this Motion was passed.

I, the Director of the Finance & Procurement Department of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her
duly authorized representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the
money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or
expenditure described above is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified above, from which it is
to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to
annual appropriation by the City Council.
