Motion approving supply agreements for approximately 800,000 gallons of high float rapid set
emulsified asphalt with polymer in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0239-93 with the following
companies based on low bids, to provide for multiple progressive awards. The terms of the
agreements will be twelve months with option to extend for up to an additional twelve months subject
to the approval of the suppliers and the City Manager or his designee. The Street Department will
use this material with precoated aggregate for street construction and repairs. The estimated annual
total is $712,000. Funds have been budgeted in FY 1992-93 and requested for FY 1993-94.
