MPM Development, L.P. to reimburse the developer an amount not to
exceed $544,557.60 for the construction of a section of Oso Parkway related
to the Oso Creek Corner subdivision located off Yorktown Boulevard and
southeast of Starry Road. (District 5)
WHEREAS, the Developer is oversizing by oversizing a section of Oso Parkway
in lieu of a residential street;
WHEREAS, the City has determined the agreement will carry out the purpose of
the Unified Development Code; and
WHEREAS, the Developer and the City seek to enter into a contract to construct
public improvements, and such contract meets the requirements of Texas Local
Government Code §§ 212.071-212.074.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The recitals contained in the preamble of this Ordinance are determined to be
true and correct, are hereby adopted by the City Council, and made a part hereof for all
purposes as findings of fact.
SECTION 2. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a developer
participation agreement with MPM Development, LP, ("Developer") to reimburse the
developer up to $544,557.60 for the City's portion of the cost to oversize a section of Oso
Parkway related to the Oso Creek Corner Unit 3 subdivision located off Yorktown Boulevard
and southeast of Starry Road, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas.
