Health Services (DSHS) for the Corpus Christi—Nueces County Public Health
District to perform mobile food vendor inspections and complaint
investigations from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with the option to extend
for an additional 4 years.
WHEREAS, the Department of State Health Services is requesting mobile food
vendor inspection and complaint investigation services;
WHEREAS, the total amount of Contract No. HHS001719600013, including all
Work Orders issued under it, shall not exceed $106,517.00 for the contract period of July
1, 2026, to August 31, 2027; and
WHEREAS, Corpus Christi—Nueces County Public Health District, at its sole
discretion, may extend the contract up to 4 additional years for a maximum term of 5
years.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to enter into an interlocal
agreement with the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) for the Corpus Christi—
Nueces County Public Health District to perform mobile food vendor inspections and
complaint investigations from July 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027.
Section 2. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to extend the interlocal agreement with the Department of State Health
Services (DSHS) for the Corpus Christi—Nueces County Public Health District to perform
mobile food vendor inspections and complaint investigations.
