Motion authorizing a one-year supply agreement with one additional one-year option
period with Southern Ionics Incorporated of West Point, Mississippi, for sodium bisulfite,
for Corpus Christi Water (CCW), in an amount not to exceed $1,788,680.00 and a
potential amount up to $3,775,480.00 if the option is exercised, with FY 2026 in the
amount of $148,285.00 from the Water Fund.
At a meeting of the City Council on 9/15/2026, this Motion was passed.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly
authorized representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that
the money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation
or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from
which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments
are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
