Motion approving the purchase of a five yard loader, with full five year maintenance, from
Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Corpus Christi, on the basis of Iow bid. The purchase price is
$158,304.30; maintenance cost is $88,998.00. The purchase price will be financed through G.E.
Capital. Based on the annual interest rate of 4.56%, the finance charge is $19,031.19, for a grand
total expenditure of $266,333.49. The replacement equipment is for Solid Waste Services
Department, and funds are budgeted in fiscal year 93-94 for the first year payments.
