Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 42 tons of powdered activated carbon
accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0297-93 with Van Waters & Rogers, Inc., Corpus Christi,
Texas based on Iow bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $29,778. The terms of the contract
shall be twelve months with option to extend for up to an additional twelve months subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. Funds have been budgeted in FY
1993-94 by the Water Department.
