Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 4,125 tons of liquid
aluminum sulfate in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0259-95 with Bay
Chemical & Supply Co., Odem, Texas based on Iow bid for an estimated annual
expenditure of $217,593.75. The term of the supply agreement will be twelve
months with option to extend for up to an additional twelve months subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. This chemical will
be used by the Water Department for treatment of our water supply. Funds have
been budgeted in FY 95-96.
