Motion approving the purchase of two truck cab and chassis in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0238-96 from Memphis Equipment Company, Memphis,
Tennessee on the basis of only bid in the total amount of $106,036. The cab and
chassis, when equipped with water tank, pump and equipment, will be used by the
Fire Department for fighting brush fires. The equipment will be funded through the
City's lease/purchase contract with G.E. Capital.
