Motion approving the lease of equipment from the following companies based on
Iow bid and only bid in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0243-96. The
equipment, including two dozers, soil compactor, water wagon, excavator, motor
grader, and a smooth drum roller, will be used by the Solid Waste Services
Department for the Sector VI Liner Construction Project. Term of the contracts vary
according to the need of each piece of equipment, with the project being completed
in approximately five months. The award is contingent upon the approval of the
1996-97 General Fund Budget.
