Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute the "Contract For Payment of
Necessary Preliminary Costs of VVater Pipeline Project to be Reimbursed from Bond
Proceeds" between the City of Corpus Christi, the Nueces River Authority, and the
Port of Corpus Christi Authority of Nueces County, Texas, relating to the pipeline
to transport water from Lake Texana to the Corpus Christi area, as negotiated with
the Authority and the Port, and authorizing the advance of $4,800,000 from the
unappropriated fund balance of the Combined Utilities System Fund for the
purposes recited in said contract, to be reimbursed from proceeds of bonds to be
issued by the Authority.
