SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
January 15, 1964

City Secretary T. Ray Kring
Mayor James L. Barnard called the special meeting to order and
announced the purpose of the meeting.
City Secretary T. Ray Kring called the roll of those in attendance.
City Manager Whitney recommended that the date of Tuesday, February
4, 1964, at a special meeting convening at 7:30 p.m., be set for a joint
public hearing with the Zoning & Planning Commission for the purpose of
considering an amendment to the text of the Zoning Ordinance which would
establish an "FR" Farm Rural District.
Motion by Blackmon, seconded by de Leon and passed that the date
of Tuesday, February 4, 1964, at a special meeting convening at 7:30 p.m.,
be set for a joint public hearing with the zoning & Planning Commission for
the purpose of considering an amendment to the text of the Zoning Ordinance
which would establish an "FP." Farm Rural District.
Motion by Roberts, seconded by Maldonado and passed that the City
Manager be authorized to negotiate for the employment of appraisers to
appraise property required for the Arts and Science Center.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
special meeting was adjourned.
