Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 185 tons of liquid cationic
polymer solution in accordance with Bid Invitation No. B1-0071-97 with Polydyne,
Inc., Parsippany, NJ, based on lowest total cost of $154,660. The term of the
contract will be twelve months with an option to extend for up to two additional
twelve month periods subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager
or his designee. This chemical is used by the Water Department for the treatment
of our water supply and funds have been budgeted for FY 96-97.
