Motion approving supply agreements for approximately 1,212 automotive and
commercial batteries in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0163-97 with the
following companies based on Iow bid for a total of $41,298.90. The term of the
contract will be twelve months with option to extend for up to two additional twelve
month periods subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his
designee. These batteries will be used by Maintenance Services, Fire Department,
and Park and Recreation. Funds have been budgeted by these departments for FY
96-97 and requested for FY 97-98.
