Motion to appoint Mr. David Garcia as the next City Manager of the City of
Corpus Christi under the following terms: salary of $130,000 per year; car
allowance of $6,000 per year; deferred compensation package of $7,500 per
year; severance package of six months; payment of his regular, normal moving
expenses plus $3,000 in other moving expenses associated with moving Mr.
Garcia's family to Corpus Christi; with employment to commence on August 1,
1998.
