MOTIONS - 8/11/98
Motion approving a supply agreement with Van Waters & Rogers, Corpus Christi,
Texas for approximately 7,200 tons of liquid caustic soda in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. B1~0189-98, based on Iow bid, for an estimated semi-annual
expenditure of $551,800. The term of the supply agreement will be for six months
with options to extend for up to two additional six month periods, subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. The Water
Department will use this chemical for the treatment of our water supply. Funds have
been budgeted in FY 98-99.
