Motion approving a supply agreement with Hughes Supply, Inc., Corpus Christi,
Texas for approximately 1,627 ductile iron mechanical joint, flanged and swivel
fittings and approximately 5,388 related accessories in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0034-99, based on Iow bid for an estimated annual expenditure of
$57,984.85. The term of the contract will be for twelve months with an option to
extend for up to two additional twelve-month periods subject to the approval of the
supplier and the City Manager or his designee. These items are purchased into the
Warehouse Inventory and charged out to the Water and Wastewater Departments.
