Motion approving the pumhase of four 12-ton trailers and one 20-ton trailer in
accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0018-00 for $48,066 from H & V Equipment
Services, Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas. The recommendation for the 12-ton trailer is
Iow bid and Iow bid meeting specifications for the 20-ton trailer. The Water
Department will use two of the 12-ton trailers, two 12-ton trailers will be used by the
Gas Department, and the 20-ton trailer will be used by the Wastewater Department.
All items are replacement, with the exception of two 12-ton trailers, which are
additions to the fleet.
