Motion approving the purchase of 44 police package sedans in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0035-00 from Crosstown Ford Sales, Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas
based on Iow bid for a total amount of $911,548. Thirty-five (35) of the sedans are
replacements for Police Patrol; seven (7) are additional units for the Crime Control
District; and two (2) are additions to the fleet to be used by Municipal Court's
Marshal Program. All items are budgeted in the FY99-00 Capital Outlay.
