Motion approving a supply agreement with DPC Industries, Inc., Corpus Christi,
Texas in accordance with Bid Invitation No. B1-0092-00, for approximately 1,080
tons of liquid chlorine based on low bid for an estimated annual expenditure of
$274,320. The term of the agreement shall be for twelve months with an option to
extend for up to two additional twelve-month periods, subject to the approval of the
supplier and the City Manager or his designee. The chemical will be used by the
Water Department for water supply treatment. Funds have been budgeted in FY99-
00.
