Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 435 tons of
hydrofluorosilicic acid in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0117-00 with
PENNCO, Inc. of San Felipe, Texas, based on low bid for an estimated annual
expenditure of $62,814. The term of the agreement will be for twelve months with
option to extend for up to two additional twelve-month periods, subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. The chemical is
used by the Water Department for water supply treatment. Funds are budgeted in
FY99-00 by the Water Department.
