Motion approving a supply agreement with Texas Battery Service, Corpus Christi,
Texas for approximately 1,195 automotive, commercial and golf cart batteries in
accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0135-00 for an estimated annual expenditure
of $41,280.37 based on low bid. The term of the contract will be for twelve months,
with an option to extend for two additional twelve-month periods, subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. Funds have been
budgeted by the using departments for FY99-O0 and requested for FYO0-01.
