Motion approving a supply agreement with SafeNet Environmental Services, LLC,
Corpus Christi, Texas for the testing of asbestos in approximately 90 privately held
and public structures in accordance with Bid Invitation No. B1-0132-01, based on
Iow bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $42,390. The term of the contract
will be for twelve months with an option to extend for up to two additional twelve-
month periods subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his
designee. Funds have been budgeted in FY2000-2001 and are being requested for
FY2001-2002 by Housing and Community Development.
