Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute a subcontract with
Communities in Schools, Inc. in the amount of $351,218 to provide services for
youth ages 6 to 17 in the 78415 Zip Code area.

I, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money
required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to
the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated
for any other purpose.
Amount Required:
$425,699.00
Description of Contracts, Agreements, Obligations, or Expenditures:
To execute a subcontract in the amount of $20,318.00 with the Boys and Girls Club,
$351,218.00 Communities in Schools, $20,449.00 with Park and Rec. and $33,714.00 with
Youth Odyssey.
