Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to purchase from SBC
DataComm, Inc., in accordance with the State of Texas Cooperative Purchasing
Program, for a total of $501,561 an IP Phone System with Interactive Voice
Response and Integrated Contact Distribution. Configuration, setup and
installation are included in the contract. This system will be compatible and
integrated with the Surveillance and Security System improvements at the
Wesley Seale Dam/Choke Canyon Dam/Pump Station. It will allow for
centralized video surveillance and data and voice communications and will
provide Interactive Voice Response and Call Grouping. This will provide a
compatible phone system for the Water Utilities, outlying Water and Wastewater
facilities as well as the Emergency Operating Center.
