Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute an agreement
with DataSeek Corporation, of San Antonio, Texas, to purchase Oracle 9i
Standard Edition database software based on the State of Texas Cooperative
Purchasing Program for $54,929.97 and including first year maintenance. The
term of this contract will be for thirty-six months. This database software will be
used to support multiple enterprise-wide applications. Funds have been
budgeted in the Municipal Information Systems in FY2002-2003.

representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money
required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to
the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated
for any other purpose.
