Motion approving a supply agreement with Altivia of Houston, Texas in
accordance with Bid Invitation No. B1-0016-03, for approximately 1,080 tons of
liquid chlorine based on Iow bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $268,920.
The term of the agreement shall be for twelve months with an option to extend for
up to two (2) additional twelve-month periods, subject to the approval of the
supplier and the City Manager or his designee. This chemical will be used by the
Water Department for treatment of our water supply. Funds have been budgeted
in FY 2002-2003 by the Water Department.
