MOTIONS - 3/25/03
Motion authorizing the Acting City Manager or his designee to accept a bequest
from the Estate of Sarah J. Porter in the amount of $55,438.99. The funds are
to be used to purchase books, other printed materials as stipulated in the Last
Will and Testament of Miss Porter.

authorized representative), hereby Certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that
the money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or
expenditure described below is in the Treasury to thc credit of the Fund specified below, from
which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
Funding Request: An extension of Legal Services Agreement with Fulbright &
Jaworski,L.LP. to represent the City in its negotiations with Landry's Restaurants, Inc.
on the City's Marina Operations and Development project, subject to certification of
funds.
