Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute a Real Estate
Sales Contract with Sylvia B. Martinez in the amount of $57,000 plus $1,500 in
closing costs and an additional amount not to exceed $22,500 for relocation
assistance to cover moving costs and incidental expenses in connection with a
replacement dwelling, all for the purchase of fee simple property rights for Parcel
7, being all of Lots 8 and 9, Block 4, H.E. Luter Partition, with street address of
2028 Marguerite, necessary for the Garcia Arts Center Area Street
Improvements, Phase 2 Project.

I, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the
money required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is
in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn,
and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
