Motion approving the purchase of two (2) tractors and seven (7) rotary weed
cutters from Gulf Tractor, of Corpus Christi, Texas in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0024-04 based on Iow bid and Iow bid meeting specifications in
the amount of $109,248. This equipment will be used by the Storm Water and
Water Department. Funds have been budgeted by the Maintenance Service
Depar/ment and the Water Department in FY 2003-2004. One item is an
addition to the fleet, the remainder are replacement units.

1, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money
required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury
to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been
appropriated for any other purpose.
