Motion approving the purchase of one pickup and one heavy truck from Access
Ford, Corpus Christi, Texas based on Iow bid meeting specifications and most
advantageous bid in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0112-04 for a total
amount of $53,824. These vehicles will be used by the Gas Department and
Animal Control and are replacements to the fleet. Funding is available in the
Gas Department Operations Budget and from the FY 2003-2004 Capital Outlay
Budget in the Maintenance Services Fund.

1, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized representative), hereby
certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money required for the contract, agreement,
obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from
which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
