Motion to amend Section 1 of the ordinance prior to second reading adopting
the City of Corpus Christi Budget for the ensuing year beginning August 1,2004;
to be filed with the County Clerk; appropriating monies as provided in the budget,
and providing for severance, which passed on first reading on July 13, 2004, by
revising Section 1 of the ordinance to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the Budge[ of the City of Corpus Christi, covering proposed
expenditures amounting to $486,716,163 $485,950,096 and estimated revenues
amounting to $404,391,248 $483,654,940 for the Fiscal Year beginning August
1,2004, and ending July 31,2005, as submitted by the City Manager, with
modifications directed by the City Council and recorded in its minutes being
incorporated by reference is adopted."
