Motion approving a supply agreement with Carus Chemical Co., Peru, Illinois, for
potassium permanganate in accordance with Bid Invitation No. B1-0012-05,
based on Iow bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $347,287.50. The term
of the contract will be for twelve months with an option to extend for up to four
additional twelve-month pedods subject to the approval of the supplier and the
City Manager or his designee. Funds have been budgeted by the Water
Department in FY 2004-2005_

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required for
the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is
in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been
appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation by the City
Council.
