between the City of Corpus Christi and Mr. Ron Lewis, of Austin, Texas for
governmental relations services relating to general water issues.

I the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money
required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or
expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from
which It is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments
are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.

Services Agreement with Ron LeWIS to assist the City with governmental relations services relating to
general water issues: to act as the City's liaison for legislative and regulatory matters dealing with water
legislation, water rights and general water issues: to assist the City, Legislative members, and regulatory
entities by providing data. information and research relating to the full range of sub-surface and surface
\\ater use: to keep informed as to dISCUSSions and proposals relating to general water related matters and
provide the City with regular briefings, fees are not to exceed $43,500.00.
