MOTIONS - 12/13/05
17. Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute a Real Estate
Sales Contract with Johnston Family Investments, Ltd., in the amount of $25,000
plus $1,000 in closing costs, for the purchase of fee simple property rights for
Parcel 532, being all of Lot 8, Block 2, Kingswood Addition, necessary for the
Southside Water Transmission Main, Phase 5, Project (#8391), and for other
municipal purposes.

I, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the
money required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is
in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn,
and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
