MOTIONS - 02/14/06
11. Motion approving the temporary closure of Mann Street from Water Street to
Shoreline Drive, beginning at 12 midnight, July 14, 2007 through 5:00 p.m. on
July 18, 2007 and waiving the associated occupancy fees of Section 53-195 and
requirements of Subsections 49-17 (a) and (b), for the 2007 Texas Pecan
Growers Annual Conference and Trade Show due to a finding that the event will
promote the City and provide sufficient publicity and economic benefit to justify
the waiver in accordance with Section 49-17 ( r) of the Code of Ordinances.
