8b. Motion approving the purchase of two new security systems and an upgrade to
the City Hall security system from Total Protection Systems, of Corpus Christi,
Texas for a total amount of $146,524.60. The award is based on the cooperative
purchasing agreement with the State of Texas. Two new security systems will
be installed at the Police Department and Marina. Funds are available from the
State Homeland Security Grants Program.
