2b. Motion approving the purchase and lease purchase of two (2) aerial bucket
trucks from Philpott Motors, of Port Neches, Texas for the total amount of
$135,354. The award is based on the cooperative purchasing agreement with
the Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC). These trucks will be used by the
Municipal Information Systems and Water Departments. Funding for the
purchase of one bucket truck is available in the Capital Outlay Budget of the
Maintenance Services Fund. Funds for the lease purchase of the second truck
will be provided through the City's lease/purchase financing program.
