20. Motion to direct City Manager to implement GLO recommendation standards
regarding testing levels of bacteria at beach access locations, testing during high
rain periods and placement of ad~isory signs as follows:
A General cautionary sig~ stating that water quality may be afFected a~ter a
heavy rain incident, particuiarly in storm water outfall areas and that swimming is
not advised. This sign would be permanently posted at each monitored beach at
Corpus Christi Bay.
Additional sigr~s to be placed at monitored sites stating that the area was bei~g
regularly monitored for water quality in participation with the Beach Watch
program.
