5. Motion approving a supply agreement with Oil Patch Petroleum, lnc., of Corpus
Christi, Texas for lubricating oils, greases and antifreeze in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0138-08 based on low total bid for an estimated annual
expenditure of $981,213.20, of which $30,202.20 is required in FY 2007-2008.
The term of the agreement will be for twelve months with options to extend for up
to two additional twelve-month periods, subject to the approval of the supplier
and the City Manager, or his designee. Funds have been budgeted by the using
departments in FY 2007-2008.

I, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or hislher duly authorized representative),
hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money required for the contract,
agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified
below, firm which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
Agenda item: Motion approving a supply agreement with Oil Patch Petroleum, Inc., Corpus Christi,
Texas for lubricating oils, greases and antifreeze in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0138-08 based
on low total bid for an estimated annual expenditure of $181,213.20, of which $30,202.20 is required in
FY07-08. The term of the agreement will be for twelve months with options to extend for up to two
additional twelve-month periods, subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager, or his
designee. Funds have been budgeted by the using departments in FY07/08.
