4. Motion approving the purchase of two (2) Carrier Mounted Telescopic Boom
Excavators from Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Inc., of Corpus Christi, Texas,
based on only bid, in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0190-08 for a total
amount of $490,596. The carrier mounted telescopic boom excavators will be
used by the Street Department. The two units are replacements to the fleet.
Funding is available in the Street 2008 Tax Notes Capital Improvement Project
(CIP)Fund.

I, the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized representative),
hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money required for the contract,
agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified
below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
