13. Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute an annual joint
funding agreement with the United States Geological Survey (USGS), U.S.
Department of the Interior, to gather and maintain accurate records of all inflows
and releases in the reservoir system as per Texas Water Rights Permit No. 3358
and for the continuation of surface water quality data collection by the USGS.
The City will contribute an amount of $319,380, out of a total project cost of
$378,155 during the federal fiscal year October 1, 2008 through September 30,
2009.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money
required forthe currentfiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure
described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be
drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to
annual appropriation by the City Council.
