18.1. Motion authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute Change Order
No. 2 to a construction contract in the amount of $41,364.75 for a restated not to
exceed contract price of $290,864.74 with Hamman Excavating, Inc. of Corpus
Christi, Texas, for installation of a 6-foot tall industrial grade aluminum decorative
security fence, gates, key pad and appurtenances for the Wards Building
Rehabilitation and Parking Lot Project (Base Bid A -new paved parking lot).

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly
authorized representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate
officers that the money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract,
agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of
the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated
for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation by the City
Council.
