RECESSED COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 26, 1972
AUGUST 4, 1972 - 8:00 A.M.

Mayor Sizemore called the recessed meeting to order in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall. He noted that a quorum of the Council was present
to conduct a valid meeting.
Mayor Sizemore announced that the meeting would be recessed pending
the arrival of Commissioner Bosquez, during which time the Council held a
closed workshop meeting for consideration of the pending matter of an appli-
cation to the Texas Water Rights Commission.
Mayor Sizemore reconvened the recessed meeting at 10:30 a.m.,
August 4, 1972, in the Council Chamber of City Hall, for the purpose of
disposing of the pending matter of a resolution authorizing the City Manager
to sign and deliver to the Texas Water Rights Commission an application for
Nueces Reservoir sponsorship. All members of the Council were present.
Mayor Sizemore announced that, after considerable deliberation,
there has been no change in the Council's position relative to the fore-
going matter.
There being no further business to come before the Council, motion
by Branch, seconded by Gonzales and passed, that the Regular meeting of
July 26, 1972, which was recessed to July 31, 10:00 a.m., and further recessed
to 12 Noon, July 31, 1972; recessed to 5:00 p.m., July 31, 1972; recessed to
9:00 a.m., August 2, 1972; recessed to 3:00 p.m., August 2, 1972; recessed to
8:00 a.m., August 4, 1972, be finally adjourned at 10:35 a.m., August 4, 1972.
