Motion authorizing Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract with Alan
Plummer Associates, Inc. of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of $120,946 for a total
amount of $159,526 for the base year and a construction contract with Abel's Paving &
Construction, Inc. of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of $764,707 for the base year of
the Wastewater Service Line Repair and Clean-out Installation and Manhole Ring and
Cover Adjustment Program FY 2018-2019 with a total expenditure not to exceed $401,418
and $2,294,121 respectively over the three-year life of the contract.
At a meeting of the City Council on 8/28/2018, this Motion was passed.

representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
